Technical Officer/Specialist (Microbiology), Salary £35-35,000 per annum

Due to continued growth, Reacta Healthcare are currently looking to recruit an additional Receptionist and Office Administrator into the team. The position is working as a job share, over 3 days per week.

Due to continued growth, Reacta Healthcare are currently looking to recruit a specialist in Microbiology, who will be part of the wider QC team, reporting to the QC Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing business working cross functionally from product development to clinical supply. The role will encompass a variety of different microbiology aspects; building and delivering a programme on environmental monitoring, reviewing microbiology raw data, generating risk assessments etc.

We are looking for a driven individual with a strong background in microbiology who is looking for the next step in their career. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to grow into and develop a new role, becoming the subject matter expert in microbiology.

Key Accountabilities

Including but not limited to;

  • Develop new environmental monitoring programme (from audit feedback recently performed)
  • Manage and drive change control to transfer contract laboratory provider
  • Carry out required environmental monitoring to programme
  • Trend results data / create reports
  • Assess production controls / standards and drive improvements
  • Check micro raw data received from contract laboratory
  • Create / improve forms used in conjunction by contract laboratory
  • Represent Reacta for micro non-conformances and deviations
  • Support / lead HACCP studies

Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Essential Experience

To be successful in this role, applicants need to have the following essential skills and experience:

  • Pharmaceutical experience preferable
  • A strong background in microbiology
  • Experience in environmental monitoring
  • Experience in risk assessment writing
  • Life sciences degree or equivalent preferable

Part-time Receptionist and Office Administrator, Salary £20-21,000 per annum pro rata  

Due to continued growth, Reacta Healthcare are currently looking to recruit an additional Receptionist and Office Administrator into the team. The position is working as a job share, over 3 days per week.

This is a varied role primarily to provide a reception service to the business, with an element of general administration support to other departments. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced SME during a period of high growth.

We are looking for someone with a professional, proactive, and enthusiastic approach who feels comfortable communicating both internally and externally at all levels. You will be naturally confidential in your nature and will show flexibility towards tasks with a high level of attention to detail.

Key Accountabilities

The role will involve all aspects of general reception and administration, including but not limited to;

  • Dealing with post and arranging consignments to customers
  • Supporting production with system batch processing and data entry
  • Dealing with post/email and phone enquires
  • Organising travel and accommodation bookings for the executive team
  • Ordering stationary supplies
  • Managing the switchboard, fielding enquires and taking messages
  • Meeting and greeting visitors

  • Flexible, can-do attitude, enthusiastic and friendly
  • Ability to work on own initiative and multitask
  • Capacity to maintain the strictest confidentiality

Desirable but not Essential Experience

  • Touch typing with speed and accuracy
  • Ability to write in shorthand

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSE’s or equivalent

Finance Assistant, Salary £23-25,000 per annum

You will be naturally highly confidential in your nature and will show flexibility towards tasks with a high level of attention to detail.  This role will also involve supporting the Head of People with some level of administrative tasks.

Key Accountabilities

The role will involve all aspects of general finance administration, including but not limited to;

  • Purchase order processing
  • Administering the accounts email inbox
  • Processing invoices using the appropriate software (Sage)
  • Providing general finance and human resource administrative support
  • Data entry
  • Supporting in the preparation of reports
